On Labor Day we went on a little hike with Nick and Sarah up Rose Canyon. We hadn't done that for about a year and it was the perfect day for it. Here's some of my favorite shots from that day.

Lila started preschool the first week of September! I put her in the 4 yr old class even though she should have been with the 3 yr olds. She only misses the deadline by 15 days and she's such a smart girl, I think I'll try and get her into kindergarten next year if I can. It would be great to have her and Isaak only a year apart.
She goes to Little Lighthouse Preschool just off of Morning Light Dr. Her teacher's name is Miss Kristine and Lila just loves her and all of the kids that are in her class! I'm glad she loves it so much and it's so nice for me to have a few hours to myself three days a week.
Lila turned 4 this month!!! I've never thrown a birthday party for her before and now that she's starting to have friends I thought it was time. She wanted to have an "Under the Sea" party so I tried to decorate with colors of the ocean. It turned out so cute!
In our gift bags we had gummy fish, sharks and octopus and mermaid necklaces for the girls!
All of her friends came wearing their favorite costumes. As everyone was coming I let them decorate Lila.

First we had pizza, then it was on to presents and the mermaid piñata and we finished it off with cake! Great times, and Grandpa Ric and Grandma Jo even got to come!!
On Lila's actual birthday we went up to Todd's cabin and spent the night. In the morning Lila got this smooshed cupcake, but she loved it!
Right after she opened her gift she bonked her head and so we got this sad face!
We spent the rest of the morning at the cabin and went for a little walk around Silver Lake. After we got home she got her BIG gift!
I think she loves it!
Grandma and Grandpa even got to come and see her, Happy Birthday, Lila!
Some other interesting things that happened this months that I don't have pictures to document:
Isaak started taking a little football class just for the month of Sep and he starts Basketball in October. Lila started at Performance Academy and has been singing and dancing around the house ever since. I had my blue belt test for Hapkido a couple of weeks ago. My instructor told me that Master Summers said I was the best of everyone that was in the test. I'm still really enjoying taking that class and I am working out every morning before the kids wake up. Shaun went to Las Vegas with Cody this last weekend and had a much needed break. While he was gone the kids and I stayed busy playing with friends and going to the Dinosaur Museum. We're planning on going camping this weekend and hope to get at least one more trip in before it's too cold!
