Summer is here! Isaak has played soccer, he just started basketball, and he starts baseball in a few weeks. He has improved so much over the last year and I am so impressed with what a great athlete he is becoming!
Lila had her 2 summer recitals in June. She is such a great dancer! She remembers her steps and she's always right on beat. I've had other moms comment to me after the recitals of how great she was.
And she's so photogenic!
Waving goodbye to Dad as he takes Isaak to soccer
Grandmas and Grandpas. We love them so much!!
The kids and I slept in the backyard 2 nights in a row one weekend. I didn't get a whole lot of sleep, but we had a great time!
Here's our Lagoon day. It was a complete surprise for the kids, they didn't know where we were going until we got there!! Here they are on the ride up, completely confused about what we were doing!
About halfway through our day Nick and Sarah joined us. Friends make everything even more fun!!
We got to take care of Chris and Miyuki's cat for a couple of weeks while they were in Japan. This dumb cat would hide from me every time I came over, but it liked Lila enough to let her brush and pamper it.
Father's Day!! The kids were so excited to do something special for Shaun.
Father's Day breakfast!
Later that day we went to Ric and Jo's for dinner.
Here's Isaak and Shaun and his school's Father's Day breakfast. The cute boy next to Isaak is Bryson, his good friend.
We took a trip to Murdock Basin, (our favorite) with Jesse and Shalyce. We did a lot of riding, great times with great friends!
Moose!
These three were always together. Jette is such a cute friend!
Avery, Ava and the kids checking out wounds.
Lila's 2nd performance was at the Gallavan center. Fun times!
Here's Isaak's end of school performance. He reached all of the Hawk goals for the year, except for tying his shoes and participating in the reflections contest. That's 14/16 goals.... Close to the best if not THE best in the class!!
Isaak and Mrs. Richardson!
Cameron Richardson, best buds!!
Isaak's kindergarten girlfiend, Stella and some other girls in the class.
THE BASEMENT IS FINALLY DONE!!!!!!! Here's the finished results!! Shaun did some AMAZING work and I never want to paint anything ever again!
Isaak's very last day of Kindergarten. He came home with his report card that day and had BETTER than straight A's. He had the best grade on everything and on reading he tested even BETTER than where he should be. What a stud, and a smartie pants!!
He starts Spanish immersion in just 3 weeks. Because they built a new school near us and Isaak will be staying at Herriman Elementary we won't ever ride the bus again!! He gets his own little personal chauffer every day to and from school. I don't mind the extra trips, though, the Spanish program is supposed to be amazing.
