Here's a few of our favorite shots from that night.
Isaak got to build a lego car and race is against these other kid's
This is the only picture I got of our hotel room. It was so great, the kids had a hide a bed in the couch and they had their own tv! We had a kitchen and ate most of our meals at the hotel. It was perfect, plus hardly anyone was there most of the week so we almost always had the pool to ourselves! I swear we went for at least 2 hrs every day that we weren't in Disneyland!
The 2nd day we went to Huntington Beach. It was beautiful and the waves were so big!! (Thanks so a tropical storm somewhere far away)
The kids were a little nervous about the water because the undertow was SO strong! They'd get out to their knees and about get dragged out to sea. They had a great time playing in the sand and collecting sea shells!
Here's a couple pictures from us eating out that night....
On Monday, (labor day) we went back to Downtown Disney because we had promised Isaak that he could build a car at a specialty shop they had there.
Here's his car model
putting it together.....
all done!!!
Then we got to stop at Rainforest Café for lunch!
Tuesday was our first day in Disneyland!!! It was a little busier that day than we expected (I guess they were having a deal for pass members) but we still had a great time and got lots of rides in!
Alice in Wonderland...
The Mad Hatter
The next day we hit California Adventure. One day there was PERFECT! We got everything in, plus the park was dead, we just about got right on to everything!
Phineas and Ferb!
Lila pretended to run into the bear and bonk her head, she thought it was hilarious!
Cars Land! The new cars right was amazing and the longest wait time because everyone else thought so, too!
Mater!
On Thursday we went back to Disneyland and got everything in that we didn't have time for before. Here's Isaak in Tarzan's tree house
Toon Town!
Mickey's house
Minnie's house
The entire trip, Lila did NOT want to meet any characters. She would look at them, but she absolutely DID NOT want to meet them. Except for Minnie, she loved her and we had to see her again that night!
Look at her face!
Here's some birds we had fun feeding at lunch
Isaak got to go to Jedi training and fight Darth Vader! Super cool.
This little robot presentation had my jaw dropping the entire time. It could communicate, run, walk up and down stairs and perform simple tasks. I'm not ready for this new age!
Parade!!
While we were at the hotel Isaak not only mastered swimming without a life jacket, he learned how to dive!! So proud of that boy!
After we got home from Disneyland Isaak went back on track and I went to my first maternity appointment! Here our first picture of our cute little baby! I find out the gender on Nov 5!
Next in our crazy month was Lila's birthday, which lasted about an entire week! Here she is opening a beautiful doll from Grandma Patsy and Grandpa Jay. She loves it so much and named it Rose.
After that we went to Grandma Jo's and Grandpa Ric's for a birthday celebration!
Lila wanted a "Halloween Birthday" so I decorated the house for Halloween a little early and put up Halloween colored balloons and streamers.
Her Birthday morning "monster pancake!"
She totally cheated on this and crawled through in the morning instead of breaking through!
That afternoon I asked her what she wanted to do and she said she wanted to go to the Museum of Natural Curiosity. I felt bad not going with Isaak (he was in school but hasn't had a chance to go yet) but it was so awesome we'll for sure be going back!!
That afternoon the Woodford grandparents came over to give Lila her gift and they stayed for dinner! This box of My Little Ponys was mine when I was a kid. My Mom saved them (along with 2 houses to go with them) this whole time. Probably worth a bit of money! Here's her presents from us!
To top off her birthday we went swimming at the Rec Center. Her favorite thing to do!!
2 days later we had her friend birthday party. It was Halloween themed, so everyone got to dress up!
Making apple turkeys!
Lily and KayleeBrinkley and Grace
Avery
Sarah and Connor
Isaak and Lila!
Brooklyn and Andie
The kids got to do a mummy wrap
and pin the tail on the cat!
Sweet Alisa came to help, even though it was HER ACTUAL birthday! She claimed she wanted to , and she was a great help!!
Opening presents!
Her Halloween cake!
The piniata is always the best part!
This month I earned my Red Black belt in Hapkido. I've really enjoyed taking that class! I was talking to Master Summers last week and he said that when a few of the older guys retire I'm one of the people they are hoping will take over teaching some classes. So fun, I love it!
Having a picnic at Blackridge Resevoire with the Cantwells
Isaak just did his Family Fun Run at school. This is the event that I worked so hard to get sponsorship for when I was a member of the PTA. Still SO glad I'm done with that!!
