The first weekend in October I took Isaak and Lila and slept over at my parent's house for Conference. Here's Grandpa's special bird feeder. He's got three of these birds that hang around and wait for Grandpa's peanuts!
Angel bird. I always associate birds with death. Morbid, I know. But it seems like every time in my life someone dies, it's preceded by me finding a dead bird. I love how this picture turned out. It reminds me that life is fragile, and to cherish this time I have with my Daddy.
Cornbelly's with Kirsten, Lexi, and Matthew!
The morning after Cornbelly's was the big morning!! Lila was getting baptized and I came down the stairs to this sweet moment. Shaun teaching Lila what to do when she is in the water. Love!
Poor Lila was so surprised that she wasn't getting baptized in her actual baptism dress. She was so embarrassed in her jumpsuit and said she looked like a giant marshmallow. Poor thing!! After she saw the other kids in the same clothes she felt more comfortable. Sweet, sweet girl!Isaak played the piano while Lila was changing out of her wet clothes and did such a great job!
IHOP afterwards!!
The next day going to church in her beautiful dress.
