June 2018

June came a relief for us.  My Dad got out of the hospital and moved to a Care Center, we got my Mom moved into the new house that had just gotten finished, and school ended.  Super busy, but a relief.
Here's some pictures of the last day of school.

This is the first time my Dad left the Care Center and came to the new home.  So special!

Sunday chips and cheese.
These pictures might seem a little hokey to some people, but I had 2 miscarriages before I had Isaak.  I never really felt like I was allowed to grieve those babies.  Like it was a sign of weakness and I was annoying others if I was.  Anyway, I decided to take a day and allow myself to be sad.  The kids and I went to the cemetery where my Dad will eventually be buried, we wrote notes on these white balloons to the babies and sent them up to heaven.  It was a good feeling, and I like to think that they were there with us.

In the middle of all this, we were still having the house redone.  I love how it all turned out!

Reading before bed. Porter LOVES this book!
One weekend we went to Diamond Fork.  I needed that vacation so bad.  I had been so busy with my family, and it felt so good to be in nature and gain perspective on things.

Poor Lila fell off her bike and got this thorn stuck in her hand.

This was such a beautiful hike!  We swam in the falls, it was perfect

We had Josh and Sunny's kids play one day and sleep over that night.  I wish they lived closer!

New boxes above the cabinets...

They all slept out on the trampoline that night and we went to the park the next morning before I dropped them back off with Josh and Sunny

Classic waterpark with Emily Knight and family!
