One of our last trips to Thanksgiving Point before the baby!
Fancy hair!
37 lbs heavier!
Babysat Alisa's kids one day and took them all to Farm Country. Great kids, great times!
As we were leaving we noticed a small group gathered near our van looking over the fence. A Mother goat was giving birth! We got there just in time to see this cutie come out. So fun, especially because it happened about 5 days before I had my baby and Lila was able to get a lot of birth questions answered.
Isaak had 5 teeth pulled! His new ones were growing behind his baby ones so they weren't coming out.
Here's his new grin!
Mom and Lila date before the new baby! We saw the new Cinderella movie.
Shaun's new receptionist, Gina made these for me. I can't believe how much work she put into it!!
On Sunday, March 15 I woke up at 2:30 in the morning in a ton a pain. The baby had torn a muscle on my right side right under my rib cage about a week before and it hurt really bad whenever I was sitting or laying down because it was being pulled funny by my huge stomach. I was having braxton hicks contractions and was in so much pain because the muscle got pulled worse with each contraction. I remember going into the bathroom and praying that I would have the baby soon because I just couldn't handle the pain anymore. I never did go back to sleep and the contractions just got worse as the morning went on. I still got up, made Sunday morning pancakes and got myself and the kids ready for church. Then we went for a family drive and stopped at a park for a little while. Shaun knew my contractions were getting worse but I couldn't tell if I was in labor or not. We came back home and he went to go run some errands but told me to call him if things got worse. It came time to go to church and I knew I couldn't sit through any meetings....I called Shaun and we decided we should go to the hospital just in case I was in labor. We dropped the kids off at Kirsten's house and went to the Riverton Hospital. Right after we got to the hospital they got tons worse. The worst part was I had been snacking right before we left so I had to wait 5 hours for my c section! Patsy came to our house and Shaun took the kids over to her to babysat while I sat in the hospital waiting.
Finally it was time!!
I remember smelling something burning and asked Shaun what it was...... he said I didn't really WANT to know!! First time they've done that when they've cut me open. :)
Here he is!! 6 lb 15 oz at 5:37 pm Sunday March 15, 2015
They lifted him up so I could see him and blood dripped on my face!! Couldn't even care, I was so excited to see him!
Isn't he cute!!
I about started to cry when the kids came to see me. The hospital had told me that kids wouldn't be allowed because of flu season, thankfully they lifted the ban about 3 days before I gave birth. I was so glad they were able to come!
I took us a couple days to decide for sure, but we named him Porter Cole Hansen
I stayed in the hospital until the following Wednesday and then we brought our sweet boy home!
He is such a good baby! Eats well, sleeps well. Hardly ever cries, love him!
When he was a week and a half old we went and got our family photos done. So cute!
Here's some pictures of Isaak when he was a few weeks old, they look almost identical!
Shaun's new baby, looking good!
Lila getting dance pictures done with two of her besties, Avery and Grace!
