August 2015

The beginning of August we went to Jordanelle for the Hansen/Alexander campout!  I wish I had taken pictures of that trip, we had such a great time!  Lots of boating, visiting, and all the fun gifts from Grandma Jo! On the last day we stayed a little later than everyone else for one last boating trip.  Darin and Rachelle came with their family.  We got rained out near the end, but otherwise had a great time!

 In the middle of August Shaun and I went to Las Vegas alone!!! It's the first trip we've taken without the kids since Lila was about 10 months old.  We had SUCH A GREAT TIME!!! We walked around the strip, we to a great show called La Reve,  had chicken and waffles at Hash House a Go Go, stayed in the Trump Towers..... it was some much needed time for us to be alone.  I wish we could go back!!!

 Summer came to an end the end of August.  Here's Isaak on his first day of 2nd grade!!  His teacher is Mrs. Egbert and so far he likes her great!  His Spanish teacher is coming from Spain and will be her soon!

Summer was so, so busy.... but so, so fun!!! Here's some shots from the 4th of July.  After we went to Brett's house for some REALLY BIG FIREWORKS!

Here's a little trip we took to the Museum of Natural Curiosity with all of my family.  Isaak chose to stay home so he could enjoy his last day of school.  We missed him!

We got a boat with Melissa and Levi!!! So much fun and we spent so many hours going this summer.  So much fun!

This was such a fun date night.  We went to the Escape Key downtown.  They lock you in a room and you have one hour to solve the clues and break out of the room.  We did it with just 8 minutes left on the clock.  Then we went to Bennie Hana for dinner.

Our cute friend, Andie Cantwell was climbing on a rock wall when the rocks fell and crushed/ peeled the skin off 2 of her fingers.  They almost had to amputate them.  Here's the get well gift we put together for her.

Camping in American Fork Canyon with the Woodofords!  The girl with Lila is Kate and Jane's cousin.  We had such a great time!!  I absolutely love when all the cousins are such great friends!!

The same day we got home from camping we had a huge Woodford party at my parents house.  Everyone was in town because Alisa was supposed to get married that week, but had to delay it a couple months.
