Breakfast before Cowabunga Bay!

 

I was heartbroken when we had to get rid of Boone.  I NEED a dog!  But I was resigned that we might need to wait for a new one.  Then over the summer we babysat Scott's dog, Pee Wee.  I don't like little dogs.  Neither does Shaun.  But our kids loved him!  By the end of those few days, we loved him, too.  We kept saying, "Maybe a little dog wouldn't be so bad....."  Then when we were in Yuba, Josh and Kim brought their Cockapoo.  She was so well behaved, and she was SO soft!  Even with sand in her coat, she was the softest, sweetest thing.  I told Shaun I really wanted one, and he is so sweet that he said ok. 

Here I am on the drive home with our sweet new dog, Bear.  He climbed up on my shoulders and stayed there most of the drive home.  He is the easiest, sweetest, softest, squeeziest dog in the world.  and he LOVES me!  All of our dogs have loved Shaun the most, but this one loves me!

I wish I could have posted the video of when I surprised the kids with him picking up carpool. Lila cried. It was so sweet!

This is the year for Birthday parties. Lila wanted to go to Classic Skating for her birthday, and Shaun took it one step further and rented a limo for the occasion.  He was the cutest driver!  He went up to each of the girl's doors, held the door open for each one..... this one will go down in the books.  Again, I wish I could post the video of when he surprised Lila with the limo.  Classic.

And that night I took her on a special date.  We went to a movie, then to Wendy's

My Dad's birthday. My Mom told Chris to put his presents on his lap and take a picture.  Haha!

The end of September we went camping with all the Insurance guys.  So much fun!!  We went to Wes's property in Alpine.  The leaves were just changing and the weather was beautiful  The company was great, the riding was fun..... I left wishing we had some property up there and that we had a little cabin.  So beautiful!
