January 2016

I love these 2 pictures.  On my birthday, Shaun took me to Olive Garden with Nick and Sarah and then we went and saw "Mockingjay" (which was much better than I expected it to be!)  Patsy and Jay were babysitting and when we got home, this is how we found the kids.  Porter is at the age where he doesn't like anyone who isn't Mom or Dad, and he wasn't having anything to do with Grandma!  He snuggled up to Isaak all night and this is the only way he would fall asleep.  So sweet!!  Cute little lovies!!
Elsa and Anna at the home show.
Shaun's birthday breakfast! That night we took the kids to my parents and went to a movie and had him back in time to play basketball.
Angela finally came in town for the first time in years!!!  Kim, Melissa, and I paid for her plane ticket and got her for an entire week.  Fun sister times!!

Bowling with Nick and Sarah, Ben and Michelle!

Fun times at the Dinosaur Museum!  Shaun even found one on the elusive gnomes we can never spot!

The end of December we went to a Grizzly Hockey game with One Stop Insurance!  We had a suite to ourselves and had a great time!
Getting dinner at Valley Fair Mall before the game,....

Our fun Suite!

Here's some fun pictures I took of Porter in January...

I especially love these two!

December 2015

Yikes!! I am missing so many pictures from December because all of the pictures on my phone before and during Christmas are gone!! In the month of December we went on our annual Christmas lunch date with Ric and Jo, went to Sue Hardcastle's funeral (Pam's Mom), had Shaun's work Christmas party and had a private room at a bowling alley (so much fun!), Shaun and I went and saw the new Star Wars movie, had the Woodford family Christmas party 2 days before Christmas at my parents house, spent Christmas Eve with Patsy and Jay, and spent Christmas with Ric and Jo.  So much fun!  We also had several family movie nights and watched all of the Star Wars movies with the kids.  Here's a few pictures of our trip downtown one Sunday.  It was FREEZING!!
Here's pictures from Lila's dance recital.  She loves having her friends in her class!

Grace Hardy, Avery Jackman, and Brooklyn Chapo!
Lila is on the far left with Avery!
After dance pictures

These pictures are on Christmas Eve.  Here's all three kids with their Christmas jammies.  Also, they are allowed to touch Candy Cane and give him a hug before he leaves!

Here's some pictures from Patsy's house on Christmas Eve.

I wish I had more pictures!!!! I don't take my Nikon with me everywhere and those are the only ones I still have!! No pictures of my family, no pictures of Ric and Jo........ I guess I'll just have to keep those memories in my mind!
Here's a cute picture of the kids the day after Christmas.  We kept all of the new toys downstairs is a glorious mess for 2 weeks.  They loved it!

Here we are on New Years Eve!! We hit dinner with Jared and Leigh, then came home and had a family movie night and watched some Star Wars, then were all asleep by 10:30. We are so boring!!! And tired.  Parents are always tired.  :)
Here's a fun trip to the Museum of Natural Curiosity with Connor and Andie!
Happy New Year!!!

November 2015

There were so many fun things that happened in November!  Unfortunately, I don't have many pictures to prove it because I got a new phone in December and all of the pictures for November and December were lost!  Here's the few pictures I did manage to get on my Nikon.  Isaak and Lila had their first piano recital the first weekend in November.  They both started taking lessons in July and are doing a great job!

 Their piano teacher, Lily Martindale

And here's a cute snow fort the kids put together with the little snow they had available that day.  Cute!

In November we also had parent teacher conferences (both kids got great grades), all of us managed to catch the stomach flu, we had a Thanksgiving at Jo's a few Sundays before Thanksgiving, I had Thanksgiving for our little family the Sunday before, and then on actual Thanksgiving, we went to Patsy's , then later that evening we caught Thanksgiving dessert at Kim's house and played games.  We also had lots of snow, this winter has been VERY white!!
