November 2015

 There were so many fun things that happened in November!  Unfortunately, I don't have many pictures to prove it because I got a new phone in December and all of the pictures for November and December were lost!  Here's the few pictures I did manage to get on my Nikon.  Isaak and Lila had their first piano recital the first weekend in November.  They both started taking lessons in July and are doing a great job!

In November we also had parent teacher conferences (both kids got great grades), all of us managed to catch the stomach flu, we had a Thanksgiving at Jo's a few Sundays before Thanksgiving, I had Thanksgiving for our little family the Sunday before, and then on actual Thanksgiving, we went to Patsy's , then later that evening we caught Thanksgiving dessert at Kim's house and played games.  We also had lots of snow, this winter has been VERY white!!

October 2015

October was filled with lots of fun!  In the beginning of the month, Porter was scooting along the floor doing the worm, and by the end he was crawling, mostly doing the elephant crawl.  He is such a happy and loveable boy!!

 

We bought a season pass to cornbelly's this year, but due to lots of colds that went through the family, we only made it 3 times.  Here's some pics of one of our trips.  Montana got to come with us, too!

 Melissa had a great murder mystery party the day before Halloween.  Here's the elaborate invite!  The egg had a raven painted on it and the invite was inside the egg. Very awesome!!

 Kim, Melissa, Lila and I had a really fun girl's night at Gardner Village!! We started off the night with dinner at Chris and Miyuki's. So much fun!!!

 I love that my kids love to read!  They always love to take books in bed.  Isaak is reading the Garfield Holiday book.  It was one of my favorites when I was a kid!

September 2015

How did Fall get here so quickly?!  Lila started kindergarten the beginning of September.  She is in Ms. Jacobson's class with 3 of her great friends!  Avery Jackman, Carly Heaton, and Savannah Hanie.

We've already got our Halloween Costumes!  We'll be a family of monsters this year.

On Sep 5, Shaun took me a date to go see a movie.  Before we left, he gave me this beautiful necklace and earrings.  It was our 14th anniversary from when he asked me to marry him.  Something I didn't think about or remember all day, but he didn't forget!  Sometimes he completely surprises me!

The kids and I have a tradition where we go to temple square whenever we have stake conference.  I can't wait until they open the church history museum again, it's their favorite part!

Alisa got married in September!!! Yay, yay, yay!!!!  Here's some pictures from her wedding shower.

Mr. and Mrs. Randall Sly!

After the wedding we went to Randall's parents house for the wedding luncheon.  It was a perfect wedding day!!

 

Lila turned 6 yrs old in September!! She had 4 birthday celebrations.  The first one was at Grandpa Ric and Grandma Jo's house!  She got a chocolate cake and some great presents!

Her 2nd birthday celebration was a dinner at our house and the other 2 sets of grandparents got to come wish her a Happy Birthday!!!  Lucky girl, 3 sets of grandparents to spoil her!

The 3rd birthday celebration (and 3rd day in a row) was ON her actual birthday with just her family.  We went to the dinosaur museum after school and then had some special family time that night. 

 

 

Her 4th Birthday celebration was the Saturday after.  We went camping at Lagoon!!!

It was frightmares so they had all kinds of Halloween fun!

In the middle of September Shaun went to Reno for a motorcycle ride with some friends.  He rode form 3 days straight and had a great time.  While he was gone, we had some fun of our own!! Here's Lila's friends over for a playdate.

After that party, her tooth fell out!  Then she was off to Andie's birthday party while Isaak played with his friends. 

Then we went swimming with Melissa and Levi.  Both kids even went off the diving board!

The next day we hit the zoo with Kirsten, Nathan, Lexi, and Matthew.  Fun times!!!

While Shaun was gone we had an old movie, night, slept at Grandma Narda's and even caught the super moon eclipse!!  We hung out with neighbors while we watched, it was pretty amazing!

We've got season passes to Cornbelly's!  Here we are on opening night when only season pass members could get in.

I figured it was about time to get pictures of Porter since he's 6 months old.  Then I thought, " Why don't I do it!  I've got a camera, the leaves are beautiful.... why not!?"
