Yuba!

This last weekend we went on our annual Yuba Hansen camp out! There's always about 30 of us and we go boating and hang out on the beach. I didn't get any pictures of us on the boat, but here's a few fun things we did...

24th of July and nursery!

Today was Isaak's first day of nursury! He did fabulous. He walked into the room, saw all the toys and didn't even notice that we weren't there. He had a great time and it was nice for me to be able to go to Sunday school and actually hear what they were saying! I got a little bit teary when I dropped him off, he's just growing up so fast, he's really not a baby anymore!

On the 24th of July we hung out with Jared and Leigh. First we went to Applebee's, then we hung out in the back yard while the boys played ladder ball, then we did fireworks out in the circle. I'm a little sad that July is almost over, it is definitely my favorite month of the year. :)

Summer time!

Here's just a few fun photos of what we've been up to this summer. Isaak is my little tazmanian devil... he'll rip everything out of one cupboard and move on to the next one. This time he just couldn't resist climbing into the drawer he was tearing apart. :)

This was a fun evening. I took off all of Isaak's clothes and gave him watermelon. He just wandered around the yard while he ate.

Me, Kirsten, and Rachelle took all the kids to the splash park. We had a great time sitting around and talking. Isaak hated the water (of course! I've GOT to get this kid used to the water!!) but he had fun wandering around us.

Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land!.....

For the 4th of July we did fireworks in our circle along with Chris (my brother), Miyuki, and Robby. I LOVE living in a circle! All the other families did their fireworks at the same time, so we had three different shows. We had such a great time. Happy Birthday America!!!!!

Yellowstone and Grand Tetons

We went to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons last weekend! We went with my brother, Chris and his family. Can I just say, I LOVE having a husband who used to do tours in the National Parks!! He maps out all the fun sites and can tell you all about everything. He's fabulous! Anyway, we spent the first couple days in Yellowstone. The first day we were there we saw two bears but of course I forgot to bring my camera on that outing!! All of these pictures are from the 2nd day in Yellowstone and our stay in the Grand Tetons. These first few pics are of famous Old Faithful....

This geyser is pretty cool because it is ALWAYS going. :)

A "friendly" buffalo we came across. Saw a ton of those. We also saw elk, deer, a coyote, a hawk DIVING for fish, moose, tons of cool birds, and of course our two black bears!

The rest of these pictures are from the Grand Tetons. It sure was beautiful there. We were pretty close to the lake, too.

Finally strapped Isaak to this table in his car seat so he wouldn't stumble into the fire!!
