End of the Hansen Holiday Season

Wow! Our Holiday season is finally over! We've got Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, my birthday, Shaun's birthday, our anniversary, Isaak's birthday and Valentines. I am completely gifted out. At least our next child will have a September birthday so we'll have something to look forward to in the middle of the year. :) I was completely spoiled on Valentines. Shaun spent the entire day with me (rare these days with how busy Shaun is working three jobs and going to school) We spent the day running errands and shopping. That night we went to my very favorite restaurant, Mark Anthony's (owned by a guy in our ward, it's fantastic Italian!) That night we had chocolate fondu with strawberries and watched a movie. Of course I fell asleep half way through the movie at 9:30. Wow. Can't wait till the end of the first trimester when I get my energy back! :) As much fun as our Holidays have been, I'm glad that I have a few months of normalness till Mother's Day!

Happy Birthday Isaak!

Isaak's Birthday was last Tues on the 3rd. I can't believe my baby's one! I made cupcakes for him with football sprinkles. Here's his messy face after diving into his cupcake. I've always been told that for a one year old you get them a box of tissues, and for a two year old a box of band aids. The picture below is Isaak with his tissues. He really did love it! (till he started EATING them :)

Seven years

Today is our 7th anniversary!! I can't believe how fast it goes. We're both so busy today, so we celebrated last Friday. We went up to the cabin and ate pizza and watched movies half the night. So much fun. I love you hon, and am so lucky to have you. Can't wait to see what the next 70 years bring!

I know, Isaak doesn't turn 1 for another week.... but his Birthday week is so busy, I thought I'd get them done now. It's been quite a year, he's grown so much, he doesn't look like my little baby anymore, he's looking like a little boy!

My Honey's 30!!

Shaun turned 30 today! He's so busy working today, poor guy...... but on Saturday he had an overnight skiing trip with his good friend, Darin, and last night we had a HUGE party at our house. I totally forgot to take pictures, but we had about 30 people here playing games till about 4:00 this morning. I was going to take him to the Jazz game tonight, but I think he's so tired that we'll just hang out at home and watch it. Happy Birthday, hon, I'm so lucky to have you!!!

Sickies, Teeth, and Birthdays!

Poor Isaak has been so sick! This is a picture of him on Sunday. He was sooo lethargic that I FINALLY took his temperature.... 102.7. Of course, me being a first time Mom, plus I stress over EVERYTHING, I called Shaun and made him come home from church and then made him take us to Insta care. (He's so sweet to cater to my craziness) This picture of him is right before we went to the doctor. He just looks so pathetic. :( Anyway, he's still sick, poor guy. PLUS he's getting a huge front tooth! It's about to pop probably today or tommorow. I think that's just adding to his sickiness.
My birthday was on Monday!!! Big 27! (or my 6th annual 21st birthday... :) Isaak was sick so my sweet parents volunteered to come to my house and shower me with presents and dinner. Shaun got me some great gifts and told me that since I had to stay home on my Birthday taking care of a vomiting child, that we get to celebrate my Birthday again!! A whole day of Patrea.... doing everything I want to do. He's so good to me. Speaking of Shaun, his Birthday is next Monday the 12th. It's a huge one, he's turning 30!!! Everyone be sure to wish him a Happy Birthday if you see him and make fun of how old he is. :) I'm sure I'll be posting pictures of all the festivities.
This picture makes me a little sad. I blew out my candles, and had plenty of air left........stopped.....then realized that I had missed one candle! I guess my wish won't come true, danget!! It was a great one, too. :(
